Kerfon System

Location: Southern reaches of the Eastern Fringe

Population: 400,000,000 (Note Pavonis Zone census Figures 254 years out of date)

Resources: Hive world Bruscar; limited mining; agro world supplies local needs[1]

[1] Inquisitorial Note: In the last few decades we suspect that the Adeptus Mechanicus have discovered some kind of  rescource on Tyrell, the outermost of the planets in this system.  (later addition: Our suspiciouns have proved correct.  The Adeptus Mechanicus are mining a semi-organic crystalline substance.  There seems to be no heretical suspicions at present, but we shall continue to watch the cog-priests.  Inquisitor Gornal (now deceased)

Tithe Grade: Exactis Quintius

DISTANCE FROM TERRA: 75,0000 light years

Other info: Lost for a millennia by Warp Storm Xenophon.  Recovered to the light of the Golden Throne 700 years ago.  Local government forms are hereditary governorships.  Imperial religion survived isolation relatively intact.  Over 10,000 heretics from the Church of the Blessed Saviour burnt 100 years previous.  No further unrest.[2]

[2]Inquisitorial Note:  Actually, therehave been recent sporadic but consistent levels of unrest.  Inquisitor Franto Jaarl.

tYRELL: Barren asteroid locked in oliptical orbit.  Limited space ports available

HYDATOR: Temperate World

OSCARL: MINING WORLD: Promethium Rich Deposits

GOTHMAR: Tropical Agro-World

BRUSCAR: Planetary Capital of the Kerfon Sub-Sector

UXON 5: Volcanic Death World

nOTES:

Founding:  The Kerfon System was found in M.38.  There were a few primitive civilisations on Gothmar and Hydator that had strayed far from the light of the enporer.   These were strictly monitored before large scale indoctrination and assimilation into the Light of the Golden Throne.

There were attempts to Terra-form Oscarl and Bruscar, not entirely successful in either case.  Populations on Bruscar are largely confined to the poles,  Despite attempts to clear the equatorial belt, the land-masses there are larelgy aggressive: earning them the name of continental death worlds.  The poles are covered in a water and promethium ice sludge, now largely polluted with centuries of industrial output.

Oscarl where the planets peculiar rotational pattern means that levels of oxygen are highest.  Even so the populations live within underground hab-zones, protested from long-term exposure to the planets un-healthy climate.  It is from here that the rich promethium resources are exploited.
