Shadowseer

First off - and not whirling is the shadow seer, whose blank face mask looks hauntingly menacing.  I wanted to give him a sense of a drifting ghost, and so decided to have him floating above the ground at the front of the base.

The base is loaded best with a coin - english 20p pieces fit wonderfully.

Stage one

I weighted the base with a 20p piece, as you can see in the base next to him.

Stage two

I drilled from the bottom through the base, and then stuck the paperclip through, and glued it and then covered the end of the paperclip with green stuff to keep it secure.

To get that menacing look I wanted this figure so far forward the base is off balance.  When I was happy I had to add a few more bits of flash.

Stage Three

I covered the flash with superglue and then dipped straight into a pot of sand.  The sharp contours are covered up remarkably well, looking like humps underground.

Stage Four

I put superglue and greenstuff into the arm socket, and then left him to dry.  The base has been decorated with bits of modelling cork.
